“I have to say, it was really tough.”

“I got really nervous about the future. Will I ever do this again? Some people were like, ‘Oh yeah, this will blow over soon,’ but I think I had a sense that even if it did, things were going to be different.”

“I have 150 models and I’ve shot most of them two or more times since 2013. Some of them I’ve shot a dozen times.”

“Out of all these models, there are probably half a dozen to 20 guys who I consider to be my boys—even though it’s not official—because I’m really their connection to kink.”

“It became this ritual of checking in with each one, asking how they’re doing and what they’re doing. But also, ‘Send me a sexy picture, I want to see you in my jockstrap.’ A couple of them have sent me stuff like jockstraps. I wouldn’t say full-on cybersex, but just keeping this kinky dialogue going because basically everything is masturbation when you’re isolated.”

“Now that I’ve started up again, I find that I’m very rusty with some basic stuff. I think a lot of people just put their rope away and haven’t gotten it out again.”

“It really started out with me just documenting my fun.”

“People always ask, ‘What’s your fetish? What turns you on?’ And it’s kind of a weird answer, but I get turned on when I see somebody else reveling in their kink.”
