Drummer Magazine.

What we stand for

It is unfathomable to me that Drummer has been in existence for 50 years. It seems like yesterday, in 1979, when I picked up my first issue. This magazine has had a profound impact on my life in numerous ways. I would’ve never believed that I would become the publisher of it one day.

I’ve been bestowed a legacy. The stuff of men who came before me. The principles and beliefs. The feeling of belonging. This is much bigger than me or anyone else. It is a movement that began long before the “bro” culture emerged.

The beating of a tribal drum. Slow and rhythmic. Beckoning us to come home. As a man who never had one, Drummer has become my family. Every one of you is a brother to me. This goes far beyond kink and leather – it’s a brotherhood of epic proportions.

We are a movement. Men loving men in the most primal of situations. Belonging to the most elite group of men in the world. Join me as we celebrate fifty years of this iconic magazine and the men who built and shaped what we know as The Leather Fraternity.

I hope you enjoy this special issue and become part of the reemerging group of men like no other––DRUMMER Men.
