Exhibit A – Otter

A man who is hairy all over but typically smaller in frame and considerably less heavy than a bear. In the wild, an otter is a small mammal with brown fur and a long slender body. They are known to happily swim on their backs across bodies of water. Otters are endearing creatures and often bend to the wills of a daddy bear.

Exhibit B – Cub

A younger looking man that is usually heavier in body type and almost always hairy. Bear Cubs are definitely playful and often spend the winter in dens with their indoor games. Cubs have graduated from their chubby childhoods and learned to embrace their full-figured, cuddly selves.

Exhibit C – Leather Bear

A leather bear, dear reader, needs no introduction. He is the stuff of fantasies. Pulchritudinous, stocky and rough around the edges, this type of bear can be found in the dark corners of bars hunting for eager cubs to train. Leather bears are in the prime of their powers. Don’t be intimidated! Like all bears, a warm, welcoming heart can be found beneath their tough exterior.

Exhibit D – Daddy Bear

A proud man, usually over 40, who is considered to have the stature of both a dad and a bear. Cubs typically age into Daddy Bears. This specimen is typically hairy on all sides and wears a beard with some degree of length and lushness. Cigars and pipes are frequent accoutrements. Faded tattoos are also a typical marker. Not to be confused with your straight grandpa, a Daddy Bear has a commanding presence.
